Berlin, a fascinating city, a monument of living history and art!

In 1989 The Berlin Wall was taken down, wander around the city and you will see both the East and West district  showing signs of  years of political, cultural and physical divide that existed for almost 30 years. Berlin is covered by graffiti remnants of the wall itself. Start at the Reichstag and its adjacent complex of Parliamentary buildings, then head across to the leafy paths of Tiergarten, up to Brandenburg Tor, the Holocaust Memorial, Potsdamer Platz, Checkpoint Charlie.
